Thank you every kitty and human for such kind words about my Winton! I can't express how I feel to get so many comments and good wishes!! He's such a good boy and I hate to see renal failure slowly take his life! It sucks! I've watched him lose lots of weight and hover around his water bowl! It makes me sad but he's still happy! And I love him dearly! I know I will lose him to this horrible disease! And I've been doing everything I can! Giving him the proper food, giving him fluids, his blood pressure medication, his pepcid ac at night but nothing can stop this! When he was first diagnosed, 5 years ago, I was supposed to go to Hawaii for Thanksgiving-I cancelled because I had no idea what I was dealing with and was so devastated. I scoured the internet about CRF, joined the Yahoo groups did everything. And he has surprised me and everyone with his resilience and stubbornness to not let this disease take him away soon! But something has changed lately. He sleeps near his water bowl during the day. All I want to do is make him better but I can't! I feel helpless! I know my babies wont live forever! Kodak is diabetic, I'm sure as the others get older they too will develop something! It sucks!
I guess I just wanted to say thanks! Thanks for such kind words! You guys are amazing!!!!!

I am sending big, rumbly purrs to Winton and his Mum.
Hi Winton and mom, we think that CRF sucks!! I am glad to hear that you sleeps next to your mom. When her old girl Puss had CRF my mum slept in the spare room for three weeks, so that Puss could be on the spare bed next to her and when she needed the dirt box mum could help her get in and out. Even though the end was tough mum knows that Puss still wanted smooches and love, and mum would do it all over again if she had to.
Thinking of you and your mum and sending big purrs from across the ocean.
Smooches.
We'll send some special prayers your way for wonderful Winton... he is obviously held by warm and loving hands.
oh MsWinton'sMom, we are all here for you, and we are purring our hearts out for you and Winton.
My Mom knows all about having to watch a kitty get sick and prepare for the bridge. It's no fun. But she remembers that I am happy, and hopefully Winton, your mom will take comfort in your happiness until you are no longer happy, and must go to the bridge. And when you go, I will probably be there waiting for you, or at the least, right behind you. Love,
Texas
Winton
We are all keeping you in our purrs ... and your family too...

You've really been fighting CRF a long time with Winton. I've only been working with Bow and doing the sub-q's and additional meds since the spring. He is 18 now. We're sending you tons of purrs.
